Details: Trail will be shady and not too long on account of the heat. Walkers’ trail probably dog and stroller friendly.

Directions:
Driving – Beltway to Exit 23 Kenilworth Ave. Southbound towards Bladensburg. Go about 2 miles and turn left on Good Luck Rd. Towards the top of the hill look on the left for the tiny parking lot just past Crest Park Drive. If it’s full (only 8 spots), park across the street at Parkdale High School and walk. Be careful crossing Good Luck Rd.
Metro – Green Line to College Park. Right on Campus Drive (used to be Paint Branch Parkway), cross Kenilworth Ave. and continue on Good Luck Rd. Park entrance is on the left towards the top of the hill. It’s about 1.5 miles. You can catch the R12 bus to cut a mile off, or ask for a ride.
