Start: Lake Accotink Park – 7500 Accotink Park Rd, Springfield, VA
Directions to start: Main parking lot (the one with the railroad trestle). Park near the 2 dumpsters at the far end of the lot from the trestle .
Trail will be ready by 1 pm Saturday, August 15, start on your own, at your own time, but be advised the park closes at 9 PM.
Dogs ok, but strollers not advised. Extra pair of dry shoes/socks.
Trail is A – A. Runners’ trail 4 and 1/2-ish, Walkers’ trail 2 and 1/2-ish. For those finishing trail between 2 and 4:30, hare will have beer at the end until it runs out.
